Συνεχίζεται με επιτυχία η πρώτη από τις
εκθέσεις της τριλογίας «Νέοι Ορίζοντες»,
η οποία πραγματεύεται το ζήτημα της «ταυτότητας των άλλων». Σε αυτήν την
ενότητα, ο θεατής έρχεται σε επαφή με τις ποικίλες προσεγγίσεις του θέματος από
τον κάθε καλλιτέχνη, βλέποντας πως εκφράζονται συλλογικές και ατομικές
ανησυχίες με εικαστικά μέσα. Έτσι, φαίνεται πώς μια ταυτότητα, εκτός από
περιορισμός και χωρίς να στερεί τη μοναδικότητα του καθενός, μπορεί μέσω της
τέχνης να λειτουργήσει και απελευθερωτικά…

Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο, το Μουσείο Φρυσίρα προτείνει ξεχωριστούς καλλιτέχνες, μέσα από τις
συλλογές του και αναδεικνύει σύγχρονες μορφοπλαστικές τάσεις από όλο τον κόσμο.
Με τις επιλογές του, επιδιώκει να μιλήσει για τα ορατά και αδιόρατα νήματα με
την ιστορία της ζωγραφικής, τις υπόγειες δυναμικές της και τα πεδία έκφρασής
της στο μέλλον.

New Horizons of Painting. Part one: The identities of
Others [January – June 2017].

The
first exhibition of the trilogy «New
Horizons», which approaches the issue of the «identity of others», continues successfully. In this part, the
viewer has the chance to observe the various approaches of this particular
subject, as depicted by each artist, and also see both collective and
individual aspirations artistically expressed. So, it seems like an identity,
except of functioning as a limitation, and without abolishing one’s uniqueness,
can be liberating as well.

In
this context, Frissiras Museum
features distinguished artists from its collections, and presents contemporary
figurative trends in painting from all over the world. Through these choices,
it wishes to comment on the tangible and intangible notions in the history of
painting, its underlying dynamics and its fields of expression in the future.
